 Muir District’s 2010 Camporee was held in the Fall instead of the Spring, since we were all involved in the Northern California Centennial Jamboree in April.  We had a “Skill-O-Ree” with a `49ers mining theme at Sugarloaf Recreation Area in Walnut Creek. Wek-Wek provided the opening for both the Friday and Saturday night campfires, as well as hosting the Studebaker (wheelbarrow) races. Another popular event was the “Gumby Stick” competition.
